ERNO LASZLO

Timeless Skin Serum | White Marble Cleansing Set | Sooth & Calm Mask
If you watch my Insta stories you may remember me dancing in my dressing gown to Jay-Z. Ten points if you do, that's a good memory you have there. If you didn't catch it, well your missing out, lol. That was last month while I was in Saint Tropez and aside from the dancing I also showed how I was using my new products from Erno Laszlo.

So, full disclaimer. I had never heard of Erno Laszlo before and was slightly skeptical at first, until a little research taught me that it is a brand that has been around since the 1920's, used by Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. They believe that skincare should be unique to the person and have created a range of bespoke products to cater to different skin types/concerns. They are known for their double cleanse systems and I've been testing out two products (one is the double cleanse) for over two months. I have noticed some differences in my skin, so I thought it was only right to share it with you guys. I've listed some pros and cons for you to consider if you're in the market for some new skincare or just want to know more about the brand.

Pros:
  • The double cleanse set is very effective - my skin feels so clean after using it. It removes my makeup after one use
  • Beautifully packaged - both products are packaged very well, I love the monochromatic theme. The cleansing set is great for travelling as the box is a solid plastic but with ventilation for the soap to dry
  • Results - Since using the double cleanse twice a day I noticed that my regular breakouts around my nose stopped completely. I stopped using it again for a week or so and the breakouts returned.
  • Price - The double cleanse is £28 - £30 which is a fair price point for a product with visible results. I'm approaching my third month and think I will get at least 4 months out of the set.

Cons:
  • It's not really a con but more a personal thing - using soap on my face felt very weird at first. My mum always told me not to use soap on my face. But this isn't your averaged bar of imperial leather
  • Price - the serum is pricey (£120) it is very nice but definitely a splurge item. I've loved using it and plan to continue using it (sparingly) to last as long as possible. I also love using it under my makeup
  • Size - The double cleanse set has a bar of soap and a bottle of cleansing oil. I have to be mindful of the amount of oil I use so it doesn't run out before the soap

Both my sister and the boy tried out the products and really liked the results. My sister suffers from very dry skin so was worried about using soap on her face. She noted that her face did feel dry after use but because of the oil it wasn't bad. She was incredibly impressed by the serum as it put all the moisture back into her face. She religiously uses moisturiser and actually forgot to apply it after using the serum.

I honestly love the fact that I get the opportunity to try new things, and really it is all thanks to you guys. I'm absolutely loving the double cleanse set and although this was sent to me I would buy it again when it runs out. xx

P.S. I haven't used the face mask yet, but I will x
