Friday

BLACK FRIDAY

Black Friday is back at it again to get us spending which isn't a bad thing if you have had your eye on something or plan to buy gifts for family and friends. I've put together a low down of some of the best deals out there and some of my top tips for shopping on Black Friday and over the Cyber Weekend.

ASOS
If you have read my blog once you will know ASOS is bae to me. I love ASOS and love it even more if they have a discount code going on. This weekend they have 20% off everything when you use the code GOGOGO, which is amazing as ASOS stocks so many brands. It also makes it a great time to check out my ASOS coat edit

Missguided
Today Missguided have 50% off the entire site and 99p delivery, that's some serious savings and perfect for treating yourself to something new. These cream boots are giving me serious yeezy vibes, at half price they are a steal and would look great with a long coat like this.

High Street Heros
The high street is fully involved this weekend. Topshop, Newlook and River Island are offering 50% off selected items while H&M and Zara have 20% off.

Urban Outfitters
There are some great deals over on Urban Outfitters they have 50% off and delivery is £1. They sell a great range of clothing and If you haven't ever checked out the home section in UO its a MUST! I love buying people gifts from there as they tend to be beautiful and unusual. Check them out here, and tell me this journal isn't pretty.

Vans
You guys know the boy loves him some Vans, and this weekend they have 30% off plus free delivery if you spend over £35. You can never go wrong with a classic slip on or old skools but if your feeling more adventurous then how pretty are these, or you can keep it black, black as the boy likes to do. With Vans their are so many options and don't even get me started on the kids section.

Anthropologie
This isn't actually a store I've been into, but I've checked them out online because they have some beautiful bits and this weekend they have 20% off everything online and in store. They sell a wide range of products but I especially love their monogram category. Tell me these mugs aren't gorgeous, they would make the most perfect gift possibly teamed with these coasters

Department Stores
The older I get the more I love John Lewis. It is one of the best place to buy expensive good as they have a great two year policy (three years on John Lewis products) They have a price match on this weekend so it is the perfect time to check out electrical items. Selfridges is also getting in on the action, offering up to 20% if you use the code SELFCCE at the checkout. House of Fraser is another great department store they have up to 50% off plus my scarf is on sale, check it out here.

Top Tips

1) Check around - If your buying from an online store that stocks other brands, then always check the website of the actual brand to see what promotion they have. For example Missguided is sold on ASOS, but today Missguided is doing 50% off everything

2) Be a savvy shopper - Knowing what you want is key, so create a list and try and stick to it also use that list to check the price of one product on various websites to see who has the best deals. The low prices are always attractive and can suck you in to buying things you don't actually need, don't be that person

3) It's not just for Friday - Remember that most of these deals are on all weekend, so don't be trigger happy when pressing buy now. Some retailers will offer even better deals on cyber Monday so ensure you check the prices again over the weekend

4) It's just a sale - If you don't get what you want this time, never fear. Sales come and go and we will have more sales after Christmas and into the new year. Chances are if you don't look to buy it in the next sale, then you never actually wanted it

5) You can always return - Always check the returns policy, most retailers give you 28 days. If during the time you haven't worn/used that product then consider returning it, especially if something is an impulse buy. So don't be too hasty to pop off those tags as some retailers won't accept a return if the tags are removed.

Most importantly shop within your means, don't buy anything you can't afford. It's nice to have nice things but it is even nicer to not have financial stresses. Happy shopping guys xx
